Seminars - Staff Training 2004

In the context of the constant training of her staff, Mrs. Miranta Merkouri, the Director of the European Center for Language Studies, organized once again this year a series of seminars at the language school during the first quarter of the 2004-2005 educational year.

For this purpose, renowned instructors and publishing house representatives were recruited to Pirgos, to present the new material taught this year at the European Center for Language Studies, to suggest enhanced teaching methods, and to exchange opinions regarding the methodology applied at the language center for foreign language learning.
The instructors that participated in the seminars were:

1. The educational consultant, teacher, and teacher trainer Mrs. Katerina Mantadaki from the EXPRESS PUBLISHING company
2. The educational consultant and teacher Mr. Yannis Spyropoulos from the OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS publishing house, accompanied by the ΕLT representative for W. Greece Mrs. Maria Palaiologou
3. The educational consultant and teacher Mrs. KAREN COOK from the HILLSIDE PRESS publishing house
4. The educational consultant, teacher, and teacher trainer Mr. JEAN GROVER from MACMILLAN PUBLISHERS, accompanied by the ELT representative of the publishing house Mr. Dimitris Kaiafas
