On Saturday January 21, 2012, the Eleia branch of PALSO awarded prizes to the students who scored full marks during the May 2011 L.A.A.S. exams, the December 2010 EDEXCEL/PTE exams and the May 2011 EDEXCEL/PTE exams at the Convention centre of the District of Eleia.
A raffle with prizes followed.

On Friday January 13, 2012, the director Mrs. Miranta Merkouri cut the cake for the staff in the teachers' lounge of the school and wished good health as well as personal and professional success to all.
Many teachers also cut their New Year cakes in class with their students.
Our standard meeting with the parents of new students took place on Saturday, October 8, 2011, in the meeting hall of the European Centre of Language Studies- Miranta Merkouri. The director Mrs. Miranta Merkouri, together with the teaching staff, presented the teaching methods applied for the learning of foreign languages with the help of an Interactive Whiteboard. Ms Demetra Roussou and Mrs. Mary Tzouvelakou analyzed the teaching programme for preliminary classes while Ms Adamantia Zapheiropoulou talked about the ideal age when a child should start learning a foreign language. Mr. Michael Pozantzis explained the theory of the Learning Pyramid as well as Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences, on which the methodology of the school is based.
During and after the presentation, parents had the opportunity to ask the teachers questions concerning the teaching process at the European Centre of Language Studies. After the meeting beverages were offered to the parents and the staff.
