The school year at the European Center for Language Studies-Miranta Merkouri began again with the normal inaugural staff meeting and the Blessing by Mr Nikolaos Katsidimas, Priest at the Church of St. Spyridon in Pirgos, Ileias, on Saturday, September 17, 2016.
The Director Ms Miranta Merkouri wished her staff good luck in their work.
The New Year Cake for the staff was cut by the Director Mrs Miranta Merkouri on Friday, January 27, 2017 in her office at the school, and good luck was wished to all.

On Sunday, January 23, 2017, the PALSO branch of Ileia awarded prizes to the students who scored full marks during the May 2016 L.A.A.S. exams and the December 2015 and May 2016 NOCN exams at the Convention Center of the District of Ileia.
